Introducing the Fund Management Team

The Athena Global Opportunities Fund is managed by Apollo Multi Asset Management LLP.  Apollo Multi Asset Management LLP was founded in July 2008 with the primary aim of preserving and growing the wealth of investors.   They are a UK domiciled and regulated fund management company.

Apollo are an independently owned Company with four managing partners, all of whom are directly involved in the day to day business of the firm. The partners of Apollo have an average of twenty five years’ experience in the investment industry and importantly, along with the entire fund management team, all share the same passionate belief in the benefits of true multi asset management.

Apollo believes that true multi asset management should involve a wide range of investment tools that can be used as and when the appropriate market opportunities arise. Apollo’s expertise comes from the ability to understand the relationship between multiple different asset classes and combine them together to effectively build a diversified portfolio that suitably balances risk and the potential for return.

Apollo were established in 2008 and are UK domiciled and regulated by the FCA.

Steve Brann

Founding partner and fund manager

Steve is a founding partner and fund manager on the Apollo funds and also on the Athena discretionary managed portfolios. Steve has over 25 years investment experience, working across a wide variety of investment disciplines.

Ian Willings

Fund manager

Ian is a fund manager on the Apollo funds and also on the Athena discretionary managed portfolios. Ian has over 14 years investment experience having started his investment career in 2000 as an investment analyst for RP Hodson before joining Insight Investment as a retail analyst.

The Athena Global Opportunities Fund is a sub fund of the LF Partners Investment Funds registered under Part I of the Luxembourg law of 17th December 2010 relating to undertakings for collective investment, as amended (these are commonly known as “UCITS V” funds) (the “2010 Law”). AGOF is recognised by the FCA under s264 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

The Management Company delegates the management of the portfolio to the Portfolio Manager, as per this delegation, the Portfolio Manager is responsible for the consideration of the Principal Adverse Impact of the investment decision on the Sustainability Factors. The fund manager decided not to currently consider the adverse effects of investment decisions on sustainability factors for this fund. Such impact deems not to be relevant and there is a lack of data available on the market to determine and weigh the negative sustainability effects.
